The images presented in these collections are works in on-going projects that represent my visions of the world as I see it. Sometimes they may be small oddities in composition, like the image “pot by window” which was a study in creative space and balance. Others may be larger, more complex spaces that need to be shown as a whole. These collections come and go, contract and expand, and may change with each passing mood. Inspiration may arise from any source or muse – unexpected experiences may give birth to the most thought-provoking images. It is not until a project is finished, or that I feel it is complete, that they will remain static. I am not sure if any of them ever will.
CLOSED DOORS
They are both inviting and a blockade, adding a layer of security to our lives. A way IN, and a way OUT. Simple and beautiful in function, yet complex in symbolism.
PANORAMAS
A panoramic image depicts a field of view considerably wider than the one that can be captured in one exposure, and it tells a more complex story and draws the viewer of the image closer to the feeling of what it was like to be there. These images are best viewed printed large.
STREETS I HAVE WALKED
Captured moments from streets I have walked in times gone by and moments lost and shared by the camera.
